Similar occurrences generally inadmissible except:
1. P’s accident history: to show fraudulent scheme or if the cause of plaintiff’s damages is in issue
2. Similar accidents caused by the same event or conditions: to show existence of dangerous condition, causation, or prior notice to ?
3. Intent in issue: to draw inference of intent from prior conduct (eg, discrimination)
4. Comparable sales on issue of value: as some evidence of value of property in similar location at similar time period
5. Habit or business routine: to infer how the person or business acted on the occasion at issue; habit is defined by frequency and particularity of the conduct; is a repetitive response to a particular set of circumstances
6. Industrial custom as standard of care: how others in same trade or industry have acted in the recent past is admissible as some evidence of the appropriate standard of care
