(B)    Inventor can file continuing application, which involves paying fee to get 2 more chances to file 131, make changes, etc. Discourages endless rounds of iteration
(C)    Splinter: Inventor could splinter patent app. Maybe examiner thinks you have more then one invention on application. They can place restriction on app for you to break it up. “divisional applications”
(1)    Maybe examiner isn’t expert in 2nd invention area – want another examiner to look at that
(2)    Get proper fees, prevents cheating
