Locality Rule: Example: Brune v. Belinkoff; Issue: Was a Dr. in New Bedford in a medical malpractice case to be judged by the standard of doctors in New Bedford or to other doctors in the area (NY and Boston).  
Rule: No reason to believe that the local standard of care would deviate from the national standard of care for board certified physicians.  We should hold a specialist to the national standard of care.  (Locality Rule)
